Either you transform China or China will transform you, warns outgoing Tibetan president-in-exile Lobsang Sangay

Lhasa: Outgoing Tibetan president-in-exile Lobsang Sangay has warned his people and the world against Chinese aggression in no uncertain terms.

China is ramping up its abuses and 500,000 Tibetans are now being held in labor camps as part of a systematic genocidal campaign that has one aim, reports Fox News.

Reacting to the Chinese stance against Tibetans, Lobsang Sangay told Fox News: "They want to make Tibet into a Chinese province and they want to make Tibetans into Chinese."

"The challenge before the world, as far as China is concerned, is either you transform China or China will transform you," he said.

China has been trying to control Tibetan Buddhism since it occupied Tibet in 1950.
