Donald Trump appoints son-in-law in key administrative post

Washington DC, Jan 10 (IBNS) : President-elect Donald Trump'a son-in-law Jared Kushner has been named as a senior adviser in the West Wing,R media reports said.

This is likely to give Kushner a sweeping portfolio and status that will make him one of the most influential figures in the administration.

Kushner, who turns 36 on Tuesday, will have to deal with some very crucial issues, including  trade deals, Middle East peace and overall government operations, reports quoted officials as saying.

Kushner will resign his positions as chief executive of the Kushner Cos. real-estate organization and as publisher of the New York Observer newspaper, according to his attorney, Jamie Gorelick.
