COVID 19 outbreak: Sheikh Hasina to address nation on Mar 25

Dhaka/IBNS: Amid Covid 19 outbreak in Bangladesh, PM Sheikh Hasina will address the nation on Mar 25.

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader confirmed the matter to reporters.

The premiere is expected to issue directives on the coronavirus outbreak in her speech the day before Independence Day, reported bdnews24.

Quader informed that Awami League has cancelled all its programmed scheduled to take place on Mar 26.

“We cannot take any impulsive decision now. We have to take comprehensive preparations and plan when to do what,” he replied when asked whether Hasina could declare a lockdown in her speech," he was quoted as saying by the news portal.

With two deaths, Bangladesh has confirmed 27 COVID 19 infection cases so far.
