Sakatchewan, Jun 30 (IBNS): Saskatchewan Mayor Dennis Dixon has called Saskatchewan highway tragedy, which killed six people including three children, as a "tragedy", media reports said.

A car crash in southwestern Saskatchewan left three adults and three children dead on Friday.

Dixon has been quoted by CTV News as saying, "Any time that you have a crash like that anywhere, it's something you don't want to see."

He added, "It's a tragedy."

In one of the two SUVs, two adults and three children were killed.

In the other car, the woman, who was driving, had died.

Investigators told media that the woman driver was the only person present in the second vehicle.
