Al-Shabab terrorists attack hotel in Mogadishu, six die

Al-Shabab terrorists attacked a beachside hotel in Mogadishu city of Somalia on Friday and left at least six civilians dead, media reports said on Saturday.

The attack left 10 people injured so far.

Security forces rescued more than 80 guests from the Pearl Beach hotel after a six-hour siege on Friday night, reports BBC.

Three members of the security forces were killed in the attack so far.

All of the attackers were killed in a fierce gun battle with security forces, police told BBC.

According to reports, the hotel is popular among government officials.
