Kabul: Afghanistan Interior Minister has warned the Taliban terror group to stop taking the military equipment and tanks they seize from the Afghan military in war to Pakistan.

Anyone smuggling the military tanks to Pakistan will be directly targeted by the Afghan airforce, said the acting Interior Minister Abdul Satar Mirzakwal as quoted by Khaama Press during his visit to  Paktia province in the south-east of Afghanistan.

According to Mirzakwal, the Taliban takes the military equipment including military tanks to Pakistan through Zabul Province.

“There are evidence and footage that Taliban take military equipment to Pakistan”, Shamim Khan Katawazai, head of the Afghan’s Independent Directorate of Local Governance was quoted as saying by the news agency.

The Taliban has rejected the claim.
