Aurangabad/UNI: The world-famous Ajanta Caves, which were closed for the past nine months due to the COVID-19, reopened from Wednesday.

However, access to the caves will be available only after online registration from December 10.

The Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) should be followed by traders and tourists, appealed Minister of State for Revenue Abdul Sattar.

Inaugurating the cave entry program at the Ajanta Tourism Center, he also appealed to tourists from all over the world to visit Ajanta.

He asserted that commercial establishments around this UNESCO World Heritage Site should adopt the triad of frequent hand washing, careful use of masks and physical distance.
