IndiGo strengthens point to point connectivity; connects Guwahati and Silchar this Durga Puja

New Delhi: Aviation major IndiGo on Tuesday announced the launch of a daily non-stop flight connecting Guwahati and Silchar.

Effective, Oct 1, 2019, IndiGo will operate the daily flight on Guwahati-Silchar route enhancing its point-to-point connectivity within North-East.

This will further consolidate IndiGo’s position in the North-East thereby enhancing mobility, trade and tourism in the region.

William Boulter, Chief Commercial Officer, IndiGo said, “We are excited to announce this route in line with our strategy to provide point-to-point connectivity within India. The North-East is a very important region and connecting two places with natural beauty and diversified culture will help with mobility and tourism within Assam. This connection will not only enhance tourism, but also provide easy accessibility for people to celebrate Durga Puja with their family and friends. We will continue to add more destinations and flights in our network to increase connectivity from and within the North-East. With this launch, we will continue to offer wide choice, on-time performance, affordable, courteous and hassle-free experience to our customers”.
