Taapsee Pannu, Swara Bhaskar react after Kangana Ranaut rates them 'B Grade' actors

Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood actors Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhaskar have reacted on Kangana Ranaut's latest remarks on them.

In an interview with Republic TV, Kangana called actors Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhaskar "B grade actors" who have not been able to get their place of pride in the film industry despite being in the "Karan Johar camp".

Without naming Kangana, Taapsee wrote on her Twitter handle: “Maine suna class 12th n 10th ke result ke baad humaara result bhi aa gaya hai! Humaara grade system ab official hai ? Abhi tak toh number system pe value decide hoti thi na #MaLifeMaRulesMaSh*tMaPot (I heard that after classes 12 and 10, our results are also declared! Is our grading system official now? Till now, we were graded on numbers right?).”

Swara Bhaskar also replied to Kangana’s statements in a tweet albeit in a different way.

She wrote, “-Needy outsider - B grade actress(But) - better looking & better actor than Alia Bhatt & Ananya!” Net net I think this was a compliment! Thanks Kangana! I think u are gorgeous, generous & a great actor ! Shine on.”

In a subsequent tweet, Swara Bhaskar lauded Taapsee Pannu for hitting out at each every allegation levelled by the Queen actor against them in an interview given to Hindustan Times.

"Very well said ??@taapsee ? .. On point as always ! Hundred points symbol Taapsee Pannu hits back at Kangana Ranaut’s accusations: I refuse to be bitter and take advantage of someone’s death for personal vendetta - bollywood - Hindustan Times," she wrote.

Kangana had said in her interview, “What I want to convey through this interview is... for me, I have only to lose here... because I know tomorrow they will get some 20 needy outsiders like Taapsee Pannu or Swara Bhasker who will get up and say, ‘Oh! Only Kangana has problems with nepotism. We love Karan Johar’. If you love Karan Johar, why are you both B-grade actresses? You are both better looking than Alia Bhatt and Ananya (Panday). You both are better actresses. Why don’t you get work? Your whole existence is proof of nepotism. What are you telling me about how happy you are with the industry?”

The feud between Kangana and Taapsee is not new. Earlier, Kangana's sister Rangoli had called the "Thappad" actor her "sasti (cheap)" copy.
