Sachin Jigar gives gold to Daler Mehndi; Dukh Bhanjan set to hit the music market

New Delhi, July 4(IBNS): Popular music director Sachin Jigar recently gifted gold to famous pop icon Daler Mehndi.

The duo went live on his Mehndi’s Facebook page  where the Punjabi singer said, “Today I am very happy that Sachin has come to visit me at DMFolkStudio and he has gifted me this Gold chain, I am asking my fans if you can tell us why he gifted me this gold?”

He added, “One lucky winner will get a chance to visit Dubai to join me and Sachin in a jamming session.”

Jigar explained the reason behind his, ‘golden’ gift to Mehndi, saying, “Just like the power and serenity of Shri Golden Temple, Daler Paaji’s voice is very powerful.”

Daler Mehndi also has come up with his new composition-Dukh Bhanjani (Destroyer of Pain) where all the shabads in the composition has been written by Guru Arjan Dev Ji.

Dukh Bhanjani is a composition of sacred hymns put together in three raags-“Raga Gauri, Raga Bilaval and Raga Sorath.
