Los Angeles, Apr 28 (IBNS): Popular international pop band Boyzone has decided to split after entertaining their fans for 25 years, media reports said.

For 25 years, since its arrival in the music world, Boyzone has entertained their fans with catchy music.

The Irish boyband are said to be planning to pull out all the stops for their final album, which will be a poignant tribute to their late bandmate Stephen Gately who passed away in 2009, reported Daily Mail.

As per The Sun, the band members took the decision 'after a series of agonising meetings to plan their future'.

"The lads, who remain firm friends, have decided to release a final album together before embarking on a massive farewell tour," the newspaper reported.

The members will retire the Boyzone group and work on independent solo projects, reports said.
