Mumbai, Feb 12 (IBNS): As Shah Rukh Khan's My Name is Khan turned 8 years since it released in 2010, Karan Johar turned nostalgic and said the movie remained 'special' to him.

" A film that will always remain hugely special to me! A relevant film with a beating heart....thank you @iamsrk @KajolAtUN @ShibaniWrites @dop007 for making my experience so epic!!!! #8yearsofMNIK," Johar tweeted.

The movie was directed by Karan Johar, produced by Hiroo Johar and Gauri Khan, and featured Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in lead roles.

Kajol made a comeback in Bollywood movies after a long gap with this movie.

SRK and Kajol, who are considered as few of the finest actors and pair to work together in Bollywood, came together for the movie.

It was one of the biggest hits of the year.

Khan had played the role of Rizwan Khan in the movie.
