Amitabh Bachchan's Piku turns 1,Khuda Gawah completes 28 years

Mumbai, May 8 (IBNS): Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan on Sunday remembered his two movies "Piku" and "Khuda Gawah" on their release dates.

While Piku turned a- year- old, Khuda Gawah, which was released in 1992, passed 28 years since hitting the silver screen.

"T 2249 - Mother's Day: 1 year of PIKU: 28 years of KHUDA GAWAH: but without Ma nothing of this would have happened," Big B tweeted.

Piku featured actors Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan.

Director of the film  Shoojit Sircar tweeted: "Celebrating one year of #PIKU."

A major part of the film was shot in Kolkata.

Khuda Gawah featured actress Sridevi.
