Alia Bhatt encourages adoption of street dogs, cats through COEXIST

Mumbai, July 24 (IBNS): Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt sent a message on social media an hour ago by posting a picture where she encouraged people to adopt street dogs and cats.

Alia shot a picture for her initiative COEXIST which engage themselves in social services like adoption of animals.

The actress was seen to carry a cat whose right eye seemed to be damaged. She shared the picture on her Instagram profile.

She captioned the picture saying: "If animals accept us for who we are, can we not accept them as they are too ? Adopt a stray RSVP for your #PetCause Rescue. Shelter. Volunteer. Pledge."

 

COEXIST is a platform that highlights and works towards the issues of animal and ecological welfare.
