Women protester block Rahul Gandhi's convoy in Amethi
New Delhi, Sept 2 (IBNS): Women protesters blocked Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi's convoy in his constituency Amethi in Uttar Pradesh on Friday, reports said.
According to reports, the women protesters are demanding for a hike in their pay.
They are all aanganwadi workers.
Police personnel removed the protesters from the venue.
Gandhi reportedly later met the protesting women.
Gandhi is currently visiting Amethi.
