Uttar Pradesh: Three die as motorcycles collide head on

Basti: Three persons were killed when two motorcycles collided head on in Walterganj area of Basti district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Wednesday.

Police sources said that the incident took place late on Tuesday night when two motorcycles collided head on near Barhua village. "Sudhanshu (19), Jiya Lal (30) and Suraj (20) were seriously injured in the accident. "The victims died on the spot," they said.

Police said that the bodies have been seized and sent for post mortem examination.
