Two pilots suspended after they tested positive for alcohol after flight
New Delhi, Aug 12 (IBNS) : Two pilots from Air India and Jet Airways have been suspended for four years by the civil aviation regulator DGCA after being found drunk, reports said.
The Jet Airways pilot has also been sacked by the company . He was tested positive after an Abu Dhabi-Chennai flight on August three.
The Air India pilot was found drunk on August 10, after he landed the Sharjah-Kozhikode flight.
Besides taking action against the two, the DGCA has moved against 63 pilots of SpiceJet for operating flights beyond their stipulated duty hours.
