Top Karbi ultra held in Karbi Anglong

Guwahati, Jan 28 (IBNS): Two militants belonging to Karbi Peoples Liberation Tiger (KPLT) including its self styled defence secretary were held by security forces in Assam's Karbi Anglong district on Wednesday, police said.
Karbi Anglong SP Mugdha Jyoti Mahanta said that, police and army unit at Diphu under Chindits Brigade of Red Horn division had jointly launched operation at Dokmoka area in the hill district and nabbed the militants.
 
The nabbed militants were identified as self styled defence secretary of KPLT Bordili Hangjang alias Francis Terang alias Abin Hangjang and Dilip Tokbi.
 
Security forces recovered a point 22mm pistol, several rounds ammunition in possession from them.
