Swarnim Vijay Mashaal marking 50 years of India's victory over Pakistan received along Assam-WB border

Guwahati/IBNS: Commemorating 50 Years of India’s Victory over Pakistan and liberation of Bangladesh in 1971, Swarnim Vijay Mashaal which was flagged off on 16 December 2020 from National War Memorial entered 101 Area on Monday (July 26) at Assam – West Bengal border.

The Mashaal was received at Sankosh River Bridge in a grand reception organised by 51 Sub Area.

A team of 51 Sub Area, on behalf of 101 Area, welcomed the Mashaal alongwith veterans of the area and civil dignitaries.

The celebrations at Sankosh River Bridge culminated with the dispatch of the Mashaal to Tura, Meghalaya.

The Mashaal will remain in the state of Meghalaya till Aug 8 after which it will move to Assam.
