Sushma Swaraj holds meeting with visiting Luxembourg PM

New Delhi, Jun 20 (IBNS) External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday, held a meeting with the visiting Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Xavier Bettel on expanding cooperation in various fields.

"Business starts early! EAM @SushmaSwaraj had a warm meeting with the Prime Minister of #Luxembourg Xavier Bettel, a friend of India. Discussions focused on expanding cooperation in trade & investment, space, digital India and people-to-people relationship," MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted.

Swaraj also had a "productive meeting" with Minister of Foreign & European Affairs of Luxembourg Asselborn.

They "discussed cooperation in trade & investment, steel & space & exchanged views on strengthening India-EU relations," another tweet said.

Earlier, the EAM made a courtesy call on Grand Duke of Luxembourg HRH Henri Albert Gabriel Félix Marie Guillaume. "Views were exchanged to further strengthen 70 years old diplomatic relationship between our two countries and impart an upward trajectory to our bilateral ties."
