Sushma Swaraj assures helping Indian woman Deepika Pandey in US

New Delhi, Nov 9 (IBNS): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj assured helping an Indian lady who gave birth to a baby in the US recently.

Deepika Pandey gave birth to the baby just weeks after her husband died of a hurt attack in the US.

Deepika is from Uttar Pradesh.

Swaraj said she has already directed the Indian Embassy to help her.

"Deepika - We are with you in this hour of tragedy. I have asked @IndianEmbassyUS to help you. @BJPLucknowBJP @templetree1," the Indian Minister tweeted.

According to reports, Deepika is currently staying in New Jersey.
