Suresh Raina visits LoC in Kashmir

Srinagar, Aug 11 (IBNS) Indian cricketer Suresh Raina Monday visited a forward post on the Line of Control in Kashmir.

The visit was a morale booster for the troops deployed in the harsh and rugged terrain of Kashmir.

The cricketer was made acquainted with the challenges a soldier faces when deployed on the Line of Control. In his interaction with the troops, he applauded the efforts made by the Indian Army Jawans in keeping a constant vigil on the Line of Control in harsh weather conditions and in the tough terrain of the area.

The cricketer shared some light hearted moments and personal experiences with the Jawans. He also shared a meal with the troops and admired the culinary acumen of soldiers.
