New Delhi, Feb 6 (IBNS) : The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed a Guwahati High Court order for CBI probe against former Arunachal Pradesh Chief Ministder Nabam Tuki in an alleged corruption case, reports said.

An apex court bench headed by Chief Justice Jagdish Singh Khehar also directed the Guhawati High Court to hear a fresh PIL on which CBI probe was ordered.

The court, however, said that FIRs, registered by CBI so far, will remain.

Tuki was accused of allocating Public Works Department contracts to his wife Nabam Yani, sister-in-law, brother and other relatives.

The Guwahati High Court had ordered a CBI probe into the allegations.

The former Arunachal Pradesh CM challenged the order in the Supreme Court.
