Six people killed in Assam road mishap

Guwahati, Sept 28 (IBNS) : At least six people were killed and five others injured in two separate road mishaps in Assam on Wednesday.

According to reports, at least five people were killed and three others injured when a truck collided head on with a car on  NH-37 near Dharamtul area in Central Assam's Morigaon district. .

Local police said  the incident happened at around 3-30 am..

Four passengers of the car and the driver of the truck were killed on the spot. The injured were taken to  hospital.

In a separate road accident,  one person was killed and two others were injured  at Laluk in Lakhimpur district.
