New Delhi/IBNS: Shankar Mishra, the man who allegedly urinated on an elderly woman co-passenger on a New York-Delhi Air India flight, moved a Delhi court on Wednesday, seeking bail, a media report said.

Mishra, who is currently in judicial custody, applied for bail before a sessions court.

His appeal for bail was earlier rejected by a magisterial court on January 11.

The sessions court is likely to hear the arguments on his application on January 27, according to a report in the media.

Mishra was arrested by Delhi Police after he had gone absconding following the incident on an Air India flight on November 26, 2022.

The Delhi Police registered an FIR against him on January 4 following a complaint by the victim.
