Ahmedabad/IBNS: The Ahmedabad City Police on Friday issued a notification directing that no "see-through" or "indecent attire" will be allowed at garba venues, media reports said.

The notification has been issued ahead of Navratri by Police Commissioner G S Malik.

However, the definition of "indecent attire" has not been explained.

Police have stressed on the security and also directed the inclusion of female security personnel.

"Install door frame metal detectors, hand-held metal detectors and breath analysers at the entry points and deploy security staff. Immediately report any intoxicated or drunk individuals to the police. Include female security personnel," the notification stated as quoted by The Times of India.
