Robert Vadra calls Swamy attention seeking, says he demeans waiters

| | Jun 25, 2016, at 08:16 pm
New Delhi, June 25 (IBNS) : Robert Vadra, Congress President Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law and the favourite punching bag of the Bharatiya Janata Party, on Saturday surprisingly jumped in the middle of an internal squabble between Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and BJP MP Subramanian Swamy by taking a potshot at the latter through a Facebook comment.

“So is there no dignity in being a Waiter ?!”, Vadra’s status reads. Referring to a veiled jibe of Swamy taken at the Finance Minister.

In an obvious reference to Jaitley, Swamy had posted on Friday that Ministers who wear a coat and tie look like waiters and must be instructed to wear Indian clothes.

Vadra, an unlikely backer of Jaitley in this case, called Swamy "attention seeking," and said his remark was "deplorable."
“Undermining waiters who work hard for a living; making condescending and derogatory remarks about them is deplorable and classic," Vadra's post reads.

Swamy hit back later in the day. "I think Mr.Vadra should concentrate on staying out of jail and not comment on political issues"
