Rhino attack Mumbai tourist team in Kaziranga National Park

Guwahati, Oct 23 (IBNS) : An unfortunate incident happened in Assam’s Kaziranga National Park (KNP) on Sunday morning when a rhino attacked a tourist team from Mumbai inside the park.

The tourists are reportedly safe but a female elephant of forest department and her calf were injured in the incident.

According to the reports, the incident happened when a tourist team from Mumbai went to elephant safari in the national park on Sunday morning.

“We are going inside the park by riding in seven elephants. When we reached near by a rhino, the male rhino attack a female elephant of forest department and her calf,” a tourist said.

“We are shocked in the unfortunate incident,” the tourist said.

In the attack, the elephant named Phulan Devi and her calf were injured.
