Rahul visits cyclone Hudhud-hit Andhra Pradesh

Vishakapatnam, Oct 19 (IBNS): A week after cyclone Hudhud hit Andhra Pradesh, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Sunday visited the state to inspect the situation.

He assured people of the cyclone-hit state his party will pressurize the Centre to rebuild Vishakapatnam.

Gandhyi also visited the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant which has been damaged by cyclone Hudhud.

He also interacted with employees of the plant .

Gandhi also interacted with farmers in the state.

"Congress VP Rahul Gandhi taking part in 'Helping Hand For #CycloneHudhud Victims' an initiative by Andhra Pradesh PCC," the Congress party tweeted.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Visakhapatnam on Tuesdayto personally review the relief and rescue operations in the aftermath of Cyclone Hudhud.
