President wishes on the eve of Constitution Day

New Delhi, May 16 (IBNS): President Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday extended his greetings and felicitations to the King and people of the Kingdom of Norway on the eve of their Constitution Day.

In a message to King Harald V, the King of Norway, the President has said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, I have great pleasure in extending warm greetings and felicitations to Your Majesty and to the people of the Kingdom of Norway on the occasion of your Constitution Day."

"India attaches high value to the friendly ties between our two countries. Our bilateral cooperation has steadily acquired greater substance and significance in recent years. We are keen to further expand and strengthen our fruitful engagement in all fields of our common interest. I am confident that the current momentum in our relations will be sustained in the future to the mutual benefit of our two peoples," Mukherjee said.

"I take this opportunity to convey to Your Majesty my best wishes for your good health and well-being and for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Kingdom of Norway," he said.
