President Ram Nath Kovind shares morning jogging video on Twitter, gives a strong message on fitness to people

New Delhi: Advising people to stay fit and healthy, President Ram Nath Kovind on Monday shared a video on Twitter where he could be seen jogging on a sea beach in Diu.

His video was accompanied with a message which will surely inspire people of the nation.

"Jogged on the pristine Ghoghla beach in Diu this morning. As we enter 2021, after a difficult year that has tested us all, let us rise together and make an endeavour to remain fit and healthy. May the coming year bring good health and prosperity in our lives," he tweeted.

 Kovind inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various developmental projects in Diu on Saturday.

These includes inauguration of - first academic session of IIIT Vadodara-International Campus Diu; and Kamleshwar School, Ghoghla; laying of foundation stone for  - construction of a school at Saudwadi; improvement of 1.3 kilometers heritage walk-way on Diu City Wall; conservation and facade restoration of heritage precincts (Zampa and market precinct); upgradation of fruits and vegetable market at Fort Road; and development of integrated municipal solid waste management system for entire urban and rural areas of Diu district.
