Pranab Mukherjee wishes Senegal on Independence Day

New Delhi, Apr 3 (IBNS): President Pranab Mukherjee on Monday extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Senegal on the eve of their Independence Day.

In a message to MackySall, the President of the Republic of Senegal, the President said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, I extend to you, the Government and the people of the Republic of Senegal warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of your Independence Day."

    "India and Senegal have always enjoyed close and friendly ties.  I am confident that our multi-faceted relations will continue to strengthen and deepen in the coming years," he said.

    "Please accept, Excellency, my good wishes for your personal health and well-being, as well as for progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Republic of Senegal," Mukherjee said.
