Powerful IED recovered in Assam
Guwahati, Nov 10 (IBNS): Security forces have recovered a powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED) from Assam's Kokrajhar district on Thursday evening, police said.
According to the reports, based on intelligence input, police and army launched the operation at Basugaon area in the BTAD district and recovered the IED from a house.
Security personnel have apprehended the house owner named Nityananda Biswas.
Later, the IED was defused by the army bomb squad team.
