Police suspects Bisnoi gang's hand in Salim Khan threat

Mumbai: The Mumbai Police suspects the involvement of Lawrence Bisnoi gang in a threat letter sent to Bollywood actor Salman Khan's father Salim Khan.

Vishwas Nangre Patil, Mumbai Police Joint Commissioner on Tuesday met Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil in connection with the case, and informed him that a recce was done before sending a threat letter and Bishnoi gang may be involved in it."

Security has been tightened around the 'Ek Tha Tiger' actor's apartment.

A team of high ranking police officers paid a visit to Salman's Bandra West residence to carry out investigations.

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang is also being investigated for its involvement in the Punjabi singer rapper and Congress leader Sidhu Moosewala murder.
