PM Narendra Modi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee greet nation on Hanuman Jayanti

New Delhi, Mar 31 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday wished the nation on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti.

"आप सभी को हनुमान जयंती की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं। Greetings to everyone on the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti," Modi tweeted.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also wished the country on the special day of the year.

She said: "Greetings to all on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti."

Hanuman Janmam-Utsav or Hanuman Janam-Utsav is a Hindu religious festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Sri Hanuman.

On this auspicious day, devotees of Lord Hanuman celebrate him and seek his protection and blessings.
