PM Modi mourns Raju Srivastava's demise

New Delhi/IBNS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has mourned the demise of popular comedian Raju Srivastava, who passed away Tuesday.

Modi wrote on Twitter, "Raju Srivastava brightened our lives with laughter, humour and positivity. He leaves us too soon but he will continue to live in the hearts of countless people thanks to his rich work over the years.

"His demise is saddening. Condolences to his family and admirers. Om Shanti."

Srivastava's death has been confirmed by his family.

He was admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi Aug 10 with complaints of chest pain and collapsing while working out in the gym.
