PM Modi greets Prez Mukherjee on his birthday

New Delhi, Dec 11 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday greeted President Pranab Mukherjee on his birthday.

The Prime Minister said, "I convey my heartfelt wishes to our beloved President, Shri Pranab Mukherjee on his birthday. I pray for his long & healthy life."

The PM also heaped praised towards the newly turned octogenarian, "President Mukherjee's long years in public life make him an invaluable asset to our nation. His wisdom & intelligence have few parallels."

Calling him 'Da' (elder brother), PM Modi said, "Pranab Da has always been a respected leader, with friends & well-wishers across the political spectrum."
