Srinagar, Oct 16 (IBNS): Pakistan troopers on Sunday violated the ceasefire again by targetting four Indian posts at Nowshera town in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to reports, a gunbattle erupted along the LoC in Nowshera town following unprovoked firing from the Pakistani side.

No casualties have been reported so far.

Since the Indian Army had conducted surgical strikes across the LoC to destroy several terrorist launch pads inflicting "significant casualties", Pakistan reportedly made  25 ceasefire violations in the past few days.

The surgical strikes by Indian was seen as a retaliation to the repeated terror attacks, including the one at Uri in which 19 Indian soldiers were killed.
