Over 90% respondents feel demonetisation will end corruption: PM's app survey

New Delhi, Nov 23 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi's demonetisation move has received the support of over 90 percent of the 5,00,000 people who took the survey on the Narendra Modi app.

Thanking people for their support, Modi tweeted: "I thank people for the historic participation in the survey. Its satisfying to read the insightful views & comments."

"More than 90% of the respondents feel the government's move to tackle black money+ is above four-star rating. 73% of them give it five-star rating of brilliant," read the statement of the app.

"On the overall fight against corruption, more than 92% of respondents either rate the government as very good or good. 57% of them rate the fight as Very Good," it continued.

About 92% of the people have agreed that Modi's demonetisation effort will have an impact on curbing black money, corruption and terrorism.

Over 5 lakh people from 2000 location across the world participated in the survey.

PM Modi on Tuesday invited views from the people, on the recent decision taken by the Union Government regarding currency notes of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000.

People could submit their views through a survey consisting of 10 questions, which is available through the Narendra Modi App.

Sharing the link to this survey, the Prime Minister tweeted that he wants a first-hand view from the people, regarding this decision.
