Nupur Talwar granted three weeks parole

New Delhi, Aug 29 (IBNS): The Allahabad High Court on Monday granted three weeks parole to Nupur Talwar, who is currently serving jail term in connection with the killing of her teenaged daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj, to visit her unwell mother, media report said.

She is currently serving her jail term at a Ghaziabad jail  since 2013.

Dentist  Rajesh Talwar is also serving the jail term.

Teenager Aarushi Talwar was found dead, with her throat slit, at the Talwar residence in Noida in the morning of May 16, 2008. The body of Hemraj, Talwars' domestic help, was found on the terrace the next day though police first thought that the murder was committed by Hemraj.

Aarushi's parents and dentists Nupur and Rajesh Talwar, who are accused of killing Aarushi and Hemraj, maintained that they were innocent, and were being framed by the CBI since the agency had not been able to track down the real killers.

Dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar were awarded life term by a court in 2013  in connection with the killing of Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj .
