New Delhi hosts DEFCOM 2014

New Delhi, Nov 17 (IBNS) The DEFCOM 2014 started in New Delhi's Manekshaw Centre from Monday.

The event will be held till Tuesday.

Speakers from Defence Forces, Industry and Academia as also R & D Organisations are participating in the various technical sessions.

The seminar was inaugurated by the Vice Chief of the Army Staff, Lt Gen Philip Campose.

The seminar is an annual event jointly organised by Corps of Signals (Indian Army) and the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII). The 2014 edition of DEFCOM was themed on “Adapting Commercial Technologies for Unifying Information, Communication Technologies, Electronic and Cyber (ICTEC) in Battle Space”.

The seminar comprises of four scheduled sessions.

The seminar-cum-exhibition is  also providing a unique opportunity for display of latest State of the Art Communication Systems by the National and International Industry.
