New Delhi, Feb 7 (IBNS): During his address at the Rajya Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday took a dig at Congress leader Renuka Chowdhury with his Ramayana remark.

It was during the middle of Modi's address at the Parliament when Renuka was heard laughing loudly.

Rajya Sabha chairman Venkaiah Naidu stopped Modi in the mid-way to admonish the Congress leader.

Amid Renuka Chowdhury's laughter, Naidu declared "unruly behavior and loose talk"would not be allowed in the House.

Modi was quick in attacking Renuka Chowdhury as he said: "I request you to let Renuka ji continue her laughter. After the Ramayan serial, we have the privilege of hearing similar kind of laughter only today."

Ramayana serial was popular during the 1980-90s.

It was based on the story of Hindu god Ram.
