Srinagar, Apr 20 (IBNS): Kashmir's senior separatist leaders, Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik, on Monday faced each other after long as they went to Narbal to express solidarity with the bereaved family of Suhail Ahmed Sofi who was killed in police firing on Friday, reports said.

Terming the continuous massacre of youth by the government forces in Kashmir as highly condemnable, Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Monday said that anti-human black laws like AFSPA and the “license under such laws to kill freely, was a deep conspiracy hatched to curb the ongoing movement in Kashmir."

“Separatists are always united for a cause but people are divided. You people support freedom struggle and you same people cast vote for pro-Indian politicians. You have to decide what you want and what is good for you,” Geelani told people present there.

He said that India is an occupational force and pro-India politicians are the ardent supporters of India whose ultimate aim is to strength this occupation.

The 17-year-old youngster, Suhail Ahmad Sofi, was killed in police firing during clashes that occurred between stone-pelting protestors and the security forces on Saturday in Narbal village, situated on the Srinagar-Gulmarg road.

Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik said that budding youth are the source of energy for nations but “Our budding flowers are been trampled by Indian occupational forces.”

This is the first time since 2008 Amarnath land row agitation in Kashmir that the top separatist leaders were seen together at a public event.

Geelani and Mirwaiz were last seen together at a public rally at Eidgah ground in August 2008, when the protests against the transfer of land to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board at Baltal in Pahalgam.
