New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday shared on X his "moments of pure bliss" in Lakshadweep with pictures of snorkeling and early morning walks.

PM Modi visited Lakshadweep and inaugurated development projects worth more than Rs 1,150 crore.

Upon returning from the trip, Prime Minister Modi posted images of the archipelago and said that the serenity of Lakshadweep provided him with a chance for introspection on "how to work even harder for the welfare of 140 crore Indians."

He wrote about various activities that he engaged in during his trip. "During my stay, I also tried snorkeling - what an exhilarating experience it was!" wrote the Prime Minister on X.

"For those who wish to embrace the adventurer in them, Lakshadweep has to be on your list," added PM Modi.

The Prime Minister also posted underwater images capturing the reefs and marine life he observed while snorkeling. PM Modi mentioned indulging in early morning walks "along the pristine beaches," describing these moments as "moments of pure bliss."

The Prime Minister also shared his experience of his interactions with the residents of Agatti, Bangaram, and Kavaratti, expressing gratitude for their hospitality. He described his visit to Lakshadweep as an "enriching journey of learning and growing."

"Lakshadweep is not just a group of islands; it's a timeless legacy of traditions and a testament to the spirit of its people," added PM Modi.

The Prime Minister stated that the central government's emphasis in Lakshadweep is on improving lives through comprehensive development.

The government’s focus is on creating opportunities for better healthcare, faster internet, and drinking water, all while safeguarding and celebrating the vibrant local culture. PM Modi said that the inaugurated projects align with this vision.
