LK Advani gets a room in Parliament

| | Jun 10, 2014, at 09:00 pm
New Delhi, June 10 (IBNS) After days of controversy, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) patriarch LK Advani finally got a room in the Parliament on Tuesday.

Advani was moved out of the room of the NDA Working Chairman in the Parliament, media reports said on June 5.

He had been sitting in the room for several years and the removal was reported with political implications of an even curtailed role of Advani under the regime of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"The room had the name plate of Advani along with former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who was the NDA Chairman. However, the name plate of Advani has been removed from outside the room while Vajpayee's name plate still stands there," CNN-IBN reported.

According to reports, the senior party leader was sitting in a makeshift BJP office room in the Parliament since June 3.

The Working Chairman of the NDA is yet to be elected.
