Lawyer files PIL against taxi-strike in Kolkata HC
Kolkata, Sept 15 (IBNS): Ramaprasad Sarkar, a lawyer of Kolkata High Court, has filed a public interest litigation against the upcoming 'non-stop taxi strike' in Kolkata High Court on Monday.
The Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) and the All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) have jointly called this non-stop taxi strike which will commence from Sept 18.
The apex court of West Bengal has accepted this petition.
The hearing of this litigation will start from Wednesday in the court of chief justice Manjula Chellur.
