Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 23 (IBNS): A 27-year-old tribal man was on Thursday night beaten to death by local people over allegation of theft in Kadukumanna village in Attappady, near Palakkad in Kerala.

Only two people have been arrested in connection with the killing while over 15 people were reportedly involved in the attack.

A video of the attack went viral on Friday which led to nationwide protest.

There has been a post too on social media which showed a man taking a selfie with the injured victim.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan condemned the killing saying a civilised society can’t tolerate such heinous acts, the Hindustan Times reported.
