Kejriwal visits Punjab, condemns desecration of holy books

Amritsar, Oct 24 (IBNS): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday visited Punjab to meet families of anti-desecration protest victims.
He also paid his respects at Holy Golden Temple in Amritsar.
 
"I have come here to pray for peace and tranquility," said Kejriwal.
 
Kejriwal was in Punjab to visit the families of the two youths who were killed in police firing while protesting against the sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib in Faridkot. 
 
The AAP supremo condemned the incidents of sacrilege to Sri Guru Granth Sahib and the following tension in Punjab.
 
He said, "No one can stay in peace after insulting Sri Guru Granth Sahib."
 
The Delhi CM also said that those responsible for the insult of Sri Guru Granth Sahib should be arrested soon.
