Jammu/IBNS: Four people were killed after a blast took place inside a scrap dealer's shop in Jammu and Kashmir's Sopore area on Monday, media reports said.

Reports say people were unloading scrap from a truck when the blast occurred.

The shop is located at the Sher Colony in Baramulla's Sopore.

Three of the deceased have been identified as Nazir Ahmad Nadroo, Azam Ashraf Mir and Adil Rashid Bhat.

SSP Sopore Divya D said as quoted by News 18, "4 people have died so far in the blast and we have called the FSL team to investigate the matter. They had procured scrap from Ladakh and were in the process of unloading it when the blast took place."
