Kaptan Singh Solanki to additionally discharge functions of the Governor of Himachal Pradesh

New Delhi, July 13 (IBNS):  Kaptan Singh Solanki will be discharging the duty of Governor of  Himachal Pradesh in the absence of Acharya Devvrat, officials said on Friday.

Solanki is the current Governor of Haryana.

A Press Communique issued by the  President's Secretariat said: "The President of India is pleased to appoint Shri Kaptan Singh Solanki, Governor of Haryana to discharge the functions of the Governor of Himachal Pradesh, in addition to his own duties, during the absence, on leave, of Acharya Devvrat, Governor of Himachal Pradesh."
